Snowflake Computing unveiled its Snowflake Data Exchange at its inaugural Snowflake Summit conference.

This is a shared data exchange marketplace that will enable secure and easy data interchange between customers and data providers. Webinfinity joins 14 other data providers in the exchange.

“We are privileged to be part of this significant Snowflake initiative,” shared James Hodgkinson, Webinfinity CEO. “We are currently underway with our first data share request with Snowflake to enable ongoing insights regarding their partner performance, engagement and contribution to the Snowflake revenue growth.”

Data exchanges are designed to move data between various sources and markets. As referenced in the Snowflake announcement, Accenture predicts that data marketplaces will unlock more than $3.6 trillion in value by 2030.
