Alteryx first launched its Partner Portal in October 2019. From its launch, the Portal has seen a steady increase in usage and sustained engagement.
By the end of Q2 2020, there was a significant increase in monthly active users as well as in user sessions. Content engagement has also steadily increased since launch, especially just-in-time announcements through the Portal and content curated to address specific needs.
The Portal remains the core of the Alteryx partner relationship strategy – a source for all the resources a partner needs to be successful selling and marketing Alteryx. Alteryx recently added several significant enhancements to its Portal capabilities.
Leads and opportunities are enhanced with deal-winning content by stage
Registration, integrated with the company’s Salesforce CRM, has been enhanced enabling partners to register both opportunities and leads, each with its unique associated workflow. Once registered, both leads and opportunities are protected for the partner. In addition, leads can now be bulk uploaded, an especially important capability for larger partners. Partner sales teams will now be presented with key deal-winning content relevant to the close timeframe for each registered opportunity.
Partner marketing gets a boost with enhanced campaign and MDF tracking
Partner marketers also get a boost with this Portal enhancement. Through a link on the Portal, they will be able generate custom URLs for use in campaigns and key customer communications. This will make it much easier for the partners’ marketing teams to track their campaigns that include Alteryx solutions.
Partners can track the status of their marketing development fund (MDF) requests and claims through the MDF dashboard that is also integrated with Salesforce. Partners can easily see what requests are pending, in review, needing action, approved, or rejected. For submitted MDF claims, the dashboard displays the number of claims submitted, those needing action, claims approved or rejected, and the status of payments.
Coming Soon: New partner users will be able to get to their first close quicker
A new onboarding workflow in the Portal will simplify the experience for new partner users joining the Alteryx partner ecosystem. Through a series of guided steps, partners will be provided the relevant resources they need for their specific onboarding stage. Partners and their Alteryx partner manager will collaborate together throughout this workflow to ensure successful completion of the entire process
